Brownfield Initial Exploration Junín
Carhuacayan is a zinc, lead and, to a lesser degree, silver polymetallic project that presents mineralization in veins, breccia bodies and replacement sills. The intrusion outcrops on contact with the limestone of the Jumasha Formation. The deposit is located 20 km east of the Alpamarca mine in the Santa Barbara de Carhuacayan district in the province of Yauli in the region of Junin region at 4,100-4,600 m.a.s.l.
