Our Environmental Management System is a key operational tool to reach this goal. It is based on the management of eight critical risks, that prioritizes, among other issues, the management of water, effluents, atmospheric emissions, and solid residues. Moreover, as part of our system, we follow up on the fulfillment of the environmental obligations undertaken by the Company in order to measure the effectiveness of its implementation.
This way Volcan can update, adjust or rethink environmental measures taking into account the dynamics of each specific operation.
