Volcan Compañía Minera held the closing ceremony of its summer
internship program in Huayllay, an initiative aimed at strengthening
students’ capabilities and providing them with hands-on field experience, as
part of its commitments to local development.
Throughout the program, participants had the opportunity to complement
their academic training with practical learning, contributing to their personal
and professional growth while gaining closer insight into the dynamics of
the mining sector.
This initiative highlights the role of mining as a key partner in developing
young talent, creating opportunities that positively impact their future and
the development of their communities.
It also reaffirms Volcan’s commitment to building sustainable agreements
with communities, promoting shared, long-term development based on the
generation of opportunities.
