Volcan Compañía Minera launched a training program on the operation of
automated equipment RCS EPIROC – SIMBA E70 S at its Romina unit, as part
of its commitment to developing specialized technical talent and driving
innovation across its operations.
The training began on April 7 and includes four days of theoretical
instruction, with the participation of 18 technical operators. Throughout the
program, participants are enhancing their knowledge in the use, navigation,
and operation of automated equipment—key to achieving safer and more
efficient mining practices.
The program is delivered with the support of EPIROC specialists, who
provide continuous guidance, address questions, and ensure a
comprehensive learning experience aligned with the highest industry
standards. Sessions are conducted on a full-day schedule, in accordance with
the established plan.
