The Emergency Response Brigade strengthened its capabilities by obtaining ITRA certification in specialized rope rescue techniques.

As part of its commitment to fostering a culture of prevention and safety, Volcan Compañía Minera continues to strengthen the capabilities of its emergency response teams.

On this occasion, the Emergency Response Brigade obtained ITRA (International Technical Rescue Association) certification in Rope Rescue, a training program that enabled team members to enhance their rescue techniques, ascent and descent maneuvers, mechanical advantage systems, and teamwork skills in real-life scenarios.

This training contributes to having better-prepared emergency responders capable of responding safely, effectively, and in a coordinated manner to emergency situations across our operating units.

The training was conducted with the support of Mon Vertical, whose professionalism contributed to strengthening the technical competencies of our teams.
